LOL Boys - “Changes” (2012)
Full disclosure, I went to college with Jerome (the LOL Boy in the bandanna at the beginning of this), and I remember spending some long afternoons in each others’ general vicinity in the video editing lab while I worked on sketches and he made these weird mashup videos. So it’s been very fun watching LOL Boys gather the attention of the music blog industrial complex and make cool stuff under that increased visibility (Markus, who I talked to for the first time at length during a solo-lboys set last week, is also a cool dude, shouts out to Markus). And although I’d be happy to rep for these guys even if they sucked a ton, I like this song, and I think this video is dope. I don’t really care that much about music videos in general, but this one is very fun and clever, so this is a weighty endorsement! So watch it and wave hi to Sarah at the end (hi Sarah!) and then put it on your blogs so these young LOL Boys can get more lucrative DJ gigs in Europe and stuff.
