New York Magazine: Vines by the Rhyme →
I wrote a short Intelligencer piece for New York Magazine about how rappers have helped make moscato more popular than it might be otherwise, and how that’s interesting because it’s the first time rappers used their considerable influence on consumers to drive us towards a species instead of a product (maybe?).
This is entertaining! I am looking forward to the new single “[Friends] Affecting the Biosphere”! It does not, however, (and I realize this a criticism I throw around often) mention Waka Flocka Flame. I would rate the chorus to “No Hands” as number one most likely rap chorus to make me want to drink moscato. In case you were wondering what my rankings of that were.
